This community just northwest of Historic Downtown Annapolis, The Naval Academy, and St. Johns College is rich in stories and history.Located between College Creek and Cowhide Branch, the earliest of settlers were tobacco farmers recruited from Virginia in 1658. Now the 230 acres includes West Annapolis Elementary School, many shops and restaurants on Ridgley Ave and Annapolis St, and residents that enjoy everything else the historical neighborhood has to offer. It being located so close to the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, many who live in the community love walking over to attend the Navy Midshipmen football games, Saturdays in the fall.
